THE HANDWERKSKAMMER TRIER
Since 1989 the Handwerkskammer Trier, representing its 8.000 member
companies, is hosting the Euro Info Centre Trier (EIC). Having
specialised in a very early stage, the EIC Trier is one of the
leading German EICs concerning the traning and consulting of SMEs
in the field of ICT. It acts as Advisory Centre for public procurement
in Rhineland -Palatinate registring enterprises as aplicants for
public tenders, hosting an internet-portal for public and private
tenders (www.transbau.com)
and the official advisory website of Rhineland -Palatinate (www.abc-rlp.de).
Furthermore, the Handwerkskammer Tier / Euro Info Center Trier
hosts a Competence Center for eBusiness (KLICK) which has been
established in 1998 within policy initiative of the German ministry
of economics and labour in order to facilitate the acces of SMEs
to eBusiness. The KLICK initiative hosted by the EIC Trier is
a registered member of the European eBusiness Support Network
(eBSN). EIC Trier also acts as a partner in the e-Commerce advisory
network in Rhineland-Palastinate created by the regional ministry
of economics (Connect).

THE TIMISOARA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INDUSTRY AND AGRICULTURE
The Timisoara Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIAT)
is the leading Business Support Organisation in the Western region
of Romania with a demonstrated knowledge in the field of ICT in
general and eBusiness in particular. The CCIAT has acted as a
lead partner in a study regarding e-Commerce. This study was carried
out in the frame work of the Leonardo da Vinci programme. Furthermore,
the CCIAT has run a national campaign for promoting eBusiness
solutions among SMEs including training sessions and publications
on this topic.

CDIMM MARAMURES FOUNDATION
The Development Center for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises
Maramures (CDIMM
Maramures Foundation)
is the leading Business Incubator Centre in the North-West region
of Romania. As lead applicant, the CDIMM has implemented a major
ICT- project with partners from Romania to US. The project was
co financed by the IBRD - infoDev programme and has developed
the ICT services in the Business incubator Centres in Romania.
